Late 20th century, two-part form, yellow pine secondary, upper cabinet with a molded pediment, single hinged door with fifteen window panes, shelved interior, case with canted and fluted raised column panels, lower cabinet with a single hinged raised panel door with shelved interior on shaped bracket feet, appears unsigned.

Sid Oakley was a native of Granville County, North Carolina. In 1968 he and his wife, Pat, founded Cedar Creek Pottery and Gallery in his home county. Named a North Carolina Living Treasure in 1989, Oakley mentored and championed hundreds, if not thousands, of contemporary artists and craftspeople. He was particularly known for his glazing techniques and his work is in the permanent collections of many major museums.

Some scuffs and white marks to case; shrinkage crack to lower door right panel; one loose glass pane.
