The first an ice cream slice, the blade featuring a matte finish and gilding, further embellished with bright cut engraving in a coordinating Egyptian motif, period "E" monogram to underside of handle, no hallmarks (10 1/4 in.); the second a small butter knife, marked "Sterling" and with obliterated retailer mark, the underside of handle featuring a charming engraving of a dancing tabby cat with rose (6 3/4 in.).
