Churches Island, North Carolina, this goose is outstanding and possibly his best canvas over wire effort to come to market, it has a high reaching head with crisp paint application.

Callie was born and raised in the Nags Head area but moved to Churches Island in the mid 1920's. He began carving decoys there and was influenced by the icons from the area.
