Clay Tillet's pintail and widgeon decoys are some of the finest to come from Dare County. The protruding tail and finely carved head reflects his interest in these puddle ducks. He once said that the widgeon and pintail decoys were made to attract the rest of the other ducks. They were placed in the center of his hunting spread. This is important folk art.
