Atlantic, North Carolina, this impressive beach robin was carved in the 1930's from 1.75 inch juniper, which allowed Alvin to carve more rounded features in the bird, published on page 39 of Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina by Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey; copper stake.
