Serial number CM 46 of 100. The Custom Match is a model which is only produced when a satisfactory supply of high grade French walnut is available. Therefore, very few are made and there was generally a waiting list. In addition to the beautiful French walnut used on this rendition of the Model 82C, it also has a black ebony forend tip, full coverage22 line per inch borderless checkering, a steel Neidner (uncheckered) buttplate, and a rust blue type satin finish. Originally, introduced in 1984, very few have ever been produced. The Custom Match series is highly regarded by serious Kimber collectors.
