Qianlong mark in iron red against gilt over turquoise glaze to underside, polychrome decoration on the neck of reverse tapered bands above finely painted medallions of phoenix birds and dragons on a blue field dotted with clouds and lotus blossoms, encircled by auspicious ruyi symbols, raised on a high footed base enameled in yellow and decorated with a running flowering vine.
