Late 19th century, an oblong copper mounted open bowl with an allover floral design in shades of blue beneath a ruyi border (3 3/4 x 11 x 5 1/2 in.) and a brass mounted footed trinket box, flowers and vines surround a vignette of two ladies on the lid with diverse scenes on the sides of the base, the hinged lid opens to a turquoise enameled interior (1 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 in.).
Private Collection, New London, North Carolina Good condition; wear from use to the interior of the bowl.
