A highly respected sculptor and painter, Thomas Sayre maintains a studio in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a founding principal of the multi-disciplinary design firm Clearscapes, alongside architect Steve Schuster.
Sayre's monumental earthcastings and public art commissions include the Gyre at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh; Shimmer Wall on the city of Raleigh's Convention Center; Curveball at Washington Nationals Stadium, Washington, D.C.; Phuket Cheddi, Phuket, Thailand; and numerous other private and public collections.
