Christian Dell (German,1893-1974) began training as a silversmith early on between 1907-1913, and worked as a foreman in the metal workshop at the Bauhaus school in Weimar in the 1920s. Dell’s innovative design style translated into designing lamps, and thus began working for the German lamp factory Gebr. Kaiser & Co. The company's first catalogue was launched in 1936.
