Meiji period (1868-1912) or earlier, hand painted with jeweled polychrome enamels, the central decoration within a sapphire blue border of three figures at an old house by a pine tree bordered lake, the outlying ground is gilt and iron red clouds with lotus medallions, by the rim is a key motif, the exterior has bright green ground with black ruffled clouds and three large floral blossoms, underside has same green glaze with signature.
