20th century, bulbous vases hand painted in iron red, black and gilt with great detail of Japanese landscapes, figures in ornate dress, deer with autumn leaves, and pair of peacocks amid birds, pine trees and peony blossoms, elaborate patterned borders around the neck and foot, character marks to underside, vases drilled and fitted in wooden mounts as lamps, one lamp disassembled.
