A Group of Chinese "Birthday" Porcelain

19th century, includes four plates and one small bowl, decorated in famille rose enamels and gilt highlights on a yellow ground with four round medallions each containing one of the four characters “wan shou fu jiang” (wishes for a long life without end) amidst swirling clouds, in the of the plates is a longevity "shou" symbol encircled by waves and mountains peaks symbolizing the cosmos, exterior sides with floral and vine decoration, six character Guangxu mark in iron red to underside of each.

One with a nick to the foot rim; one with an area of restoration at the rim; one with some painting to surface enamels; some with kiln glaze grit and defects to rim and underside; rubbing and wear with loss to gilt on rims plates and bowl.
