Circa 1890s-1900s, no manufacturer's name, 8935 stamped on top of the headstock, string names and note positions are meticulously painted on the 12-fret ebonized fingerboard; spruce top, faux "Tiger Oak " back and sides being painted white oak; slotted headstock fitted with strip tuners on backwards, but perfectly functional. With chipboard case.

Two repaired vertical cracks to top, the longest being from the sound hole downwards to the lower edge; wood chip along inner ring of sound hole; refinished top; evidence of former trapeze tailpiece. Fair condition, but interesting and playable.
