Meiji period (1868-1912), ink and colors on paper, woodblock prints, includes one triptych by Toyohara Kunichika (Japanese, 1835-1900) and one triptych by Toyohara Chikanobu (Japanese, 1838-1912), both with depictions of actors featured waist up in bright and bold colors, actors identified with name cartouches above, both professionally framed with mats in identical frames, not examined outside of the frames.

Framed dimensions 21 x 35 x 1.5 in.

Some fading to colors on particular sheets; some wear to edges; some light toning to paper.
