Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Stacy, North Carolina, circa 1930, carved and painted wood, incised IF brand indicating it was part of his personal hunting rig.

Former collection of Philip and Susan Harvey.

Irving Fulcher was the son of Charles Fulcher and he grew up hunting and carving decoys in the Core Sound tradition. This decoy body is carved from one piece of wood which was unusual as most of his bodies are laminated with two or three pieces of wood.
