Wiley Moseley grew up in the village of Pungo in Princess Anne County. He worked part time at the Pellitory Club and Pocahontas Fowling Club as a youth. Rat was a bootlegger by trade. He maintained five stills at one time. Agents raided three of the stills but never caught the elusive Rat Moseley, very rare species by the maker.
