.54 caliber, 8.5 in. smoothbore round barrel, marked with P and V over a palmetto stamp at breech, "WM GLAZE & CO" to left flat, fixed brass sight at bore; the lockplate with PALMETTO ARMORY encircling a tree in front of the hammer and having COLUMBIA SC, 1852 behind the hammer; walnut stock with brass mounts, the sideplate joined to the barrel band while the backstrap incorporates the butt cap. Includes carrying pouch.

Working action; lacking ramrod and swivel; armory logo is quite worn; trigger strap has AWN338 crudely scratched into the surface; small, old crack to the stock above the sideplate; light oxidation and pitting to iron, expected dings and scratches from field use.
