Circa 1900, including a Chinese carved rosewood desk, two part form, relief carved floral backsplash, open shelf flanked by two hinged relief carved floral doors, the desk with reeded edge, three drawers with fruit and flower blossom carved panels on stylized cabriole legs, finished on all sides (48 x 36 x 24 in.); together with a continental carved fruit wood side chair with shaped back splat, scrolled ears, upholstered serpentine seat on front molded saber legs (36 x 20 x 18 in.).

The desk with sun fading and surface wear from use; old ink stains to top; with a non-fitting key; break and repair to right two legs; the chair with later upholstery.
