The tureen with mark of Meriden Brittania Co., pattern number 1722, 2 1/2 qt. capacity, double handled oval form with scroll decoration to rim, raised on four acanthus feet (6 3/4 x 12 1/4 x 6 1/4 in.); the waiter with mark similar to Lawerence B. Smith, gadrooned rim, with shell and gadrooned double handles, engraved heraldic plumed crown to center (24 3/4 x 14 1/2 in.).

Some minor scattered scratches to the waiter; interior of tureen with light signs of use. Overall good estate condition.
