20th century, dense and heavy possibly Huanghuali wood with an attractive tight grain throughout, rounded segmented bentwood crest and arm, curved back panel with relief carved cartouche, rounded spindle supports, plank seat with underside rounded edge, straight rounded legs with molded edge return panels, stretcher base with foot-rail.
