Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, finely painted in famille rose palette with scenes of a fanciful bird perched on a blooming tree with large floral blooms above and peony blossoms below alternating with reticulated interlocking coin motifs, symbol of wealth and prosperity, in blue with flora, multiple bands of colorful motifs encircle the upper and lower areas, the top is similarly decorated as the body, unglazed underside.

Hairline crack to side of one; other stool with hairline cracks to top and with a chip to the foot rim; wear and loss to some of the enamels; some scratches and surface wear to top edge area of each; underside of one with remains of red wax export seal.
