Early 20th century, porcelain hand painted in a famille rose palette, the large Buddha has five Chinese children seated on his body, the children are joyful with some holding toys, the Buddha's robe is hand painted with colorful patterns and he holds a gilt bead necklace in one hand, his rosy cheeks and bright red lips are characteristic of this period and present the Buddha in a jolly and friendly manner, red mark and paper label to underside, comes together with a fitted wood stand.
