Qing dynasty (1644-1912), includes the first a painting with mountain peaks and fruit trees above a small hut, signed Yusheng Tang Yifen, with one seal of the artist, yu sheng with one collector's seal, possibly of Yang Xian (1819-1896), miao weng shen ding; and one other collector's seal, bai gong nie ju (staining to brocade mount; a pronounced horizontal crease to upper portion of painting) with tag from Sothebys auction, March 23, 2018, Lot 1234, the second a painting of a group of three horses grazing with hills in the background, inscription with red artist's seal to upper left corner, ink and colors on silk (staining to silk; dirt to surface; scratches and later red ink writing to surface; brocade mount with wear and loss), the third a painting of a riverside mountain landscape with families, ink on paper (wear to edges of mount), and the fourth painting, attributed to Empress Dowager Cixi (1835-1908), of peony blossoms, multiple red seals to lower left corner, large imperial seal of Empress Dowager Cixi to middle top of painting, ink and colors on paper (losses to mounting; creases and repair to paper on painting; dirt to surface).
