Qing dynasty (1644-1912), ink and colors on paper, a large Song dynasty style painting of the Buddha with two attendant figures, the Buddha is seated on a double lotus pedestal set on a raised tiered wooden base with narrative stories in gilt, there is a bottle containing the elixir of life to the left of the Buddha and a bird and peach to the right, all symbols of longevity, a floral canopy hangs above the Buddha with swirling clouds, Chinese style mounting, inscribed label to exterior "Song Image of the Great Buddha."

Some losses to paper; rubbing and wear with loss to some pigments; some spots of black ink and some stain spots in areas.
