The first a large pair of ice tongs with retailer's mark of Joseph Brunner (New York, active circa 1839-1880), gilding to finely detailed claw form tines and oval bowl, partial twist handles with bright cut floral and foliate engraving to terminus, no monogram (10 1/2 in.); a pair of sugar tongs with mark of R. & W. Wilson (Philadelphia, circa 1825-1846), bright cut engraving to handle and period script monogram; the third a dessert / oval soup spoon with mark of Northwester Silverware Mfg. Co. (Chicago, circa 1860s); and the fourth a buckwheat / waffle server with mark of Duhme & Co. (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1944-1896), with foliate engraving to blade and bright cut engraving to handle, period monogram "M.S. & F.F." (10 in.).
