Mark of William Adams, New York, active 1831-1842, the pot with naturalistic acorn and oak leaf finial, foliate scroll handle, engraved scrolling foliate and floral decoration to lid and body, with vacant cartouche, opens to a gilt wash interior, raised on three shell and stylized paw feet. Includes a coin silver mustard ladle with worn maker's mark, gilt wash to bowl, worn monogram to handle.
