19th century, ink and colors on paper, two illustrated pages from the epic Shahnameh (Book of Kings), includes the story of Rostam and Sohrab and a passage of advice from a Shah of Iran to his son on how to run the army, rule the country and select his spouse, both professionally framed so you can see both sides of leaf.

Both with toning to paper; some staining; and wear and creases to surface; some separation from border; and one with additional tears and lifting to surface on corners, some affixed with old tape; some dirt and staining; pencil marks to one side.
