A Collection of Six Chinese Export Porcelain Teapots

18th century, includes four export porcelain teapots hand painted in a variety of patterns and colors, the first decorated with a dragon swirling amidst white chrysanthemums against a turquoise ground, the second is decorated in a grisaille palette, the third is decorated with shaped registers outlined in iron red and gilt and containing ladies surrounded by scholarly items, the rest of the teapot is decorated with floral sprays, the fourth teapot has a braided handle, straight spout, acorn finial to top, the fifth teapot has a textured handle and spout, peach finial to flat cover, small sprays of pink and purple flowers scattered to surface (small chips to spout), and the sixth teapot is decorated with a purple and iron red diaper pattern surrounding a basket of floral blooms, gilt handle, spout, and finial, a chain holds the handle to the finial on the cover (restoration to rim of teapot; small chips to spout).
