19th century, the first in rectangular form, with round inlaid escutcheon, opens to an a scarlet papered lid, an remnants of a divided and tin lined interior (4 1/8 x 7 1/4 x 4 in.)(missing central divider and mounts, retains compartment lids without pulls; shrinkage crack to underside, remnants of lining to interior, no key); the second in cubic form, the lid perimeter with inlaid borders, inlaid diamond form escutcheon, open interior with remnants of lining (5 x 4 1/2 x 4 3.4 in.) (remnants of lining to interior; some inlay loss to lower side edge, the opposite side with shrinkage crack, no key).
