Each presented under glass within a contemporary linen lined shadowbox frame, early 20th century; the first with ornate gilt metal frame with paste "jewels" and gold tone handle, black fabric pieced in smooth and ribbed panels (likely silk) with floral tambour-embroidery and metallic thread (Frame dimensions 16 1/2 x 16 1/2 in.) (tears and loss to metallic thread); the second a petit point embroidered floral design with drawstring closure and fabric fringe (Frame dimensions 10 1/2 x 16 3/4 in) (some loss to embroidery threading).
