Contemporary British painter and printmaker Howard Hodgkin had a lifelong love for India. He completed Indian Views
in 1971 as a series of mental snapshots he observed through train windows while traveling across India. These screenprints capture the essence of the vibrant Indian terrain that a passenger may experience from a momentary glance out their window.
Excelling condition, and a nice, strong impression. Few minute surface imperfections, likely from printing process.
