Forbes, New York City, with retailer mark of Colton & Collins, circa 1825, with engraved heron design on the handle underside (8 3/8 in.); a fork with three part mark of unidentified New York City maker (7 3/4 in.); a tablespoon with mark of Mitchell & Tyler, Richmond, Virginia, active 1845-1866 (8 in.); a pair tablespoons with mark of John Holden, active in Massachusetts and Vermont, 1820-1841 (9 in.); a tablespoon with mark of Wood & Hughes (8 1/4 in.). Forbes fork without monogram, all others with various monograms.
