Early 20th century, pineapple mark to underside (likely that of Ellis-Barker Silver Co.), oval form with wide flared rim of pierced design incorporating figural scenes of warriors, religious figures and figures at leisure interspersed between the human-headed winged lion figures found at the palace in Nimrud built by Ashurnasirpal; the well with engraved geometric and wing motif; all raised on four bracket feet in the form of men with bows and arrows flanked by wings.
