Length 16 in.

Named for the "bush with thorns" the Pellitory Gunning Club was chartered in 1912. Robert Henley served as the caretaker from 1912 to 1927. The clubhouse tragically burned in 1930. It is unknown exactly who made these decoys but it is reported that they were picked up at the Poplar Branch Landing in the 1930s, outstanding form.
