Color field artist Gene Davis was know for these vibrant, punch works featuring brightly-colored stripes that explore the interplay between colors. The silkscreen prints offered here from Series 2 are unique because they are printed on canvas rather than paper, and this gives the works an especially strong and saturated feel.
