From the Collection of the late Zirkle James Estes, Jr., Charlottesville, Virginia This is a replica of the famous "Peaceful Cup" found at Vaphio in Greece. Depicted in relief is a scene of a bull lured by a cow and then captured by having a rear leg tethered. The original cup is believed to be one of the finest examples of Minoan art to have survived.
