The first with Swedish hallmarks, circa 1785, unidentified maker's mark, navette form with diamond pattern engraving to hinged cover and intertwined line engraving to sides, no monogram, parcel gilt (1 x 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 in.); the second with French export mark, mid-19th century, the hinged cover with a pictorial scene possibly that of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul; and the third an unmarked early 19th century box of oblong form, tested for silver, parcel gilt (LOA 3 1/2 in.).
