(New York, 1823), being a copperplate engraving by C.C. Wright after a painting by A. Fisher, the caption reading, "Engraved after an Original Picture of Mr. Fisher's in the Possession of Charles H. Hall Esq. Inscribed to the New York Association for the promotion of the Breed of Horses. By their Obedt. Servt. Alvan Fisher." behind mat and presented in a gilt wooden frame.

American Eclipse (1814-1847), an undefeated thoroughbred, was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, Saratoga Springs, in 1970.
