This uplifting poster by Toulouse-Lautrec advertises the new paper confetti of the 1890s that was commissioned by English stationery company, J & E Bella. J. E. Bella encouraged the use of their paper confetti after plaster confetti - messy and sometimes dangerous when it landed - had been banned several years before. With this poster, Toulouse-Lautrec ushered in a new way to celebrate.
