Thomas Harland was active in Norwich, Connecticut (c. 1773-1807); Thomas' son, Henry Harland, was active in Boston, Massacusetts (c. 1813) Norwich, Connecticut (1815-1834); and New Orleans, Louisiana (c. 1834-1841). He is noted as having used his father's mark "Harland" on various pieces.
