Dan Garrish spent his youth on Ocracoke by learning the ways of a waterman. He joined the Navy in 1899 but retired so he could return to his cherished Ocracoke Island. This decoy has a slight head inlay at the base of the neck which makes it unique.

Original, cracks at the front and base of the neck, chip in the top of the head.
