19th century, carved wood in horizontal scroll format, black lacquer ground, with carved gilded lotus leaf scroll border to top and bottom, left and right sides with a honeycomb motif in gilt, two large characters to center panel flanked by smaller inscriptions to the right and left, with hanging mount, heavy sign.
