Mid 20th century, cabinet has a shaped body with two handled drawers at the top, one larger drawer at the bottom and two hinged doors that open to reveal six drawers, raised on four scalloped edge shaped feet, exterior is painted in gold with Japanese landscapes and floating fans with seasonal motifs, the interior of the hinged doors and the front of the interior drawers are loosely pained with flora and butterflies, decorative metal hardware to the exterior.

Some losses to lacquer on edges and corners; three interior drawers missing handles; reverse of cabinet has loss and cracking to the lacquer towards the top area; old paper label to the underside.
