19th century, Includes two large dishes, one with barbed gilt rim, interior well with butterflies and flora, thick border with flora and butterflies and fruit on gilt ground, the second a celadon ground dish with elegant figures on verandas with flora, butterflies, and Buddhist motifs surrounding them, key motif around a center medallion of larger figures in lush landscape, gilt rim (2 1/2 in, 11 1/2 in. diameter; 2 in., 11 3/4 in. diameter) (largest with a large rim repair with old staples and an area of loss to rim that has repainting), a covered canister with yellow and pink flowers and scrolling vines, shaped registers with birds, flowers, and flora to sides and cover (4 3/4 in.)(cover has several cracks and repairs throughout), and a vase with birds, butterflies and insects scattered amidst pink roses (9 1/4 in.)(hairline down one side of body).
