As follows: Gnomologia Demosthenica (Basel: Hervagius,1570), small 8vo (7-1/2 in.), tooled vellum boards, the date "1570" period inscribed on the front cover, 1,300+ pp., each section with index, early manuscript notes on paste downs (slight warping to top board; damp stains to upper right corner of the first 100+ pages and thereafter the leaves are quite clean, solid, and tightly bound; expected soiling to boards (Very good condition for age); plus, Venerabilis Bedae Anglo-Saxonis Presbyteri in Omni Disciplinarum Genere Sua... (Cologne: Hieratus and Gymnicus, 1612), being the fifth volume from a set of the "Venerable Bede's" history of Anglo-Saxon Britain, folio (15-1/2 in.), tooled leather boards with brass hasps. (Wear to boards; sound binding; the leaves with age toning, foxing and some light stains).
