Late Qing or early Republic period, a pair of impressive parcel gilt candle holders hightlighted with red and green enamels, each unit comprising a six-side base raised on ruyi scroll feet with mask knees and scalloped aprons, with a reticulated veranda above surmounted with a pair of fish flanking a temple connected by a bat extending his wings with two peaches, above another shaped tiered scone area with reticulated veranda and a single round candle cup, the cup is set into a hexagonal shaped mount that can be removed and is impressed with a marker's seal on each side, the underside of the candle holder display is also impressed with maker marks.
