Late Qing or early Republic period, a pewter oval box with cover that is inlaid with a large center medallion of red and white Peking glass in auspicious form of a bat with pair of peaches symbolizing longevity and abundance, surrounding the central raised medallion in low relief are more peaches and bats in red enamels, the pattern continues to the side of the cover and of the box.

1 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 4 in.
