Late 19th century, probably Chinese, porcelain foo lions with cream ground hand painted in iron red, blue, yellow, green, and aubergine with floral blooms and an elaborate collar with double gourd bells, each stands on a double tiered lotus base with their mouths slightly opened showing sharp teeth and tongues, the male holds a ball under his front paw and the female a child, with three characters to underside of each.
