Republic period (1912-1949), the first a porcelain figure of Guanyin standing atop swirling cloud base, she wears a long flowing robe and holds an offering bowl in her hands (11 1/4 in.)(good estate condition), the second a porcelain figure of Guanyin seated on a lotus base, holding a tablet and a fly whisk, she is highlighted in pigments and gilt, red export stamp to hood and back, impressed seal to underside (10 1/2 in.)(some minor rubbing and loss of pigments and gilt.)
